Corporate Responsibility
Many people depend on us: patients and their families, employees, medical partners, payers, regulatory agencies, and our communities. We value their trust and work hard to foster a culture of responsibility and civility to maintain that trust.
New employees are indoctrinated into this culture early, with Code of Conduct training at orientation. We also set expectations internally through business conduct standards, political contribution policies, and a charitable donations registry to keep our relationship with medical professionals transparent.
Project 6 in India is our Corporate Social Responsibility Program catering to the needs of the Marginalized in the society. It involves participation across the organization through events, donations and philanthropy which is displayed across the organization.
In 2011 Project 6 focussed on "Adhaar" at Badlapur, about 75 kms from Mumbai which was a specially abled center for children who specialized in recycling used newspaper to prepare items of commercial value in the market. Employees from the Mumbai office participated in Project 6 by donating Money, Newspapers and other items which could be used by the Children there.
In 2010, our mission through project 6 was to clean up the Juhu Beach in Mumbai. The employees showed their dedication to the cause by giving a helping hand by being part of the cleanliness of the beach and helping the civic authorities in cleaning it. Juhu beach is one of the most visited beaches in Mumbai.
